This is not a project that records disappearing traditions out of pity. It is long-term research that asks, up close, what communities change, keep, and lose in order to survive. We are looking for supporters and partner institutions to carry the next fieldwork, translations, archives, and open materials forward together.

Individual Support

Funds the next fieldwork, translation, transcription, archiving, and open-access materials. How funds are used is disclosed concretely.

Institutional Partnership

We welcome joint projects, international exchange, and programme collaboration with cultural institutions, research bodies, and foundations.

Sharing Materials

Records, photographs, oral histories, documents about intangible cultural heritage communities — in any form, they thicken this research.

Talks & Workshops

We accept invitations for talks, workshops, and consultation. Another way this research meets the field.

Research Partnership

Beyond Jeju, Okinawa, and Taiwan — we seek long-term collaboration with researchers and practitioners who share these questions about surviving traditions.

Contact

Participation is not limited to the five ways above. If there is a way you would like to meet this research, tell us — in any form.
